Enchanting Coorg : A Rejuvenating Spa Trip @ Vivanta by Taj ,Madikeri

Coorg, a serene beauty located amidst mountains surrounded by misty , breezy, enchanting woods. This mesmerising beauty definitely made it to my list of the most rejuvenating holidays. Located in the state of Karnataka, Coorg is of easy access to travellers and takes about 5 hrs travel from Bangalore, 2 hrs 30 mins from Mysore and 3 hrs from Mangalore.

Breakfast at Kamat, Mysore road

After a sumptuous breakfast at Kamat (Mysore road), in about 3-4 hrs, we were welcomed by the foothills of Madikeri. It was a beautiful sight and truly a nature lovers paradise. The drive up-hill was pleasant and very different from my expectation, in comparison to other hill-stations like Ooty and Kodaikanal. Driving through the town and beautiful local houses, we headed to Vivanta by Taj, a breathtaking forest resort and our home for the next 3 days.
